Dr. Edgar Ballenas has been certified in medical esthetics since 2004. He is a Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician, an Associate Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians. Dr. Ballenas is certified to offer treatments in the field of permanent hair reduction, photo skin rejuvenation, removal of pigmented and fine vascular lesions.

Also, Dr. Ballenas is certified in performing injectables (Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm and other fillers). Recently, he has become certified in the art of placing absorbable Polydioxanone (PDO) threads for a non surgical approach in collagenesis and lifting for the face, neck and body.

Dr. Ballenas is also proud to offer body sculpting lipolysis to relieve individuals of those areas which can not be reduced by diet or exercise. This minimally invasive body sculpting lipolysis along with the use of the Fotona laser has been proven to be very effective and safe for the treatment of other conditions such as lipomas, excessive sweating, cellulite, stretch marks and gynecomastia.
